James Rowbottom

PhD Student, University of Cambridge

James is a PhD student in the Mathematics of Information program at Cambridge. He has an MMath from Durham University and an MSc in AI from Imperial College London. He has previously worked in roles in finance and machine learning research at Twitter.

His research focus is in the intersection of machine learning and dynamical systems, including graph machine learning, geometric deep learning, neural operator learning and physics informed neural networks (PINNs). His aim is to find novel methods and architectures in the advance of AI for science including simulation and modelling of complex dynamical systems.
