Malena Sabate Landman

Lecturer, University of Bath

Malena is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath, working at the interface of numerical analysis, inverse problems, and numerical linear algebra. Her research focuses on developing scalable and theoretically grounded algorithms for large-scale, high-dimensional inverse problems arising in areas such as image processing, medical imaging, and atmospheric inverse modelling. A central theme of her work is the design and analysis of advanced Krylov subspace methods, including flexible, inexact, and inner-product-free approaches, as well as modern techniques such as low precision and randomization to exploit contemporary computational architectures.
