Congratulations to Maths4DL’s Prof Richard Nickl, who has recently been awarded funding from the European Research Council (ERC). The 218 Advanced Grants have been awarded to outstanding research leaders across Europe, as part of the Horizon Europe programme. The grants, totalling €544 million, support cutting-edge research in a wide range of fields from medicine and physics to social sciences and humanities.

The funding will enable Richard to explore innovative and ambitious ideas for his project Statistical aspects of non-linear inverse problems.
